Description

Here is a super fun lesson plan idea for creating some abstract art with the scraps from your scrap box!  If you hate throwing away all your scraps at the end of the year, this is a great activity to use them up quick!

Your Students Will:

Glue scraps of paper to a sturdy surface.

Add patterns with a permanent marker.

What You Get:

Teacher Instructions (3 pages)

Student Instructions (1 page)

Roll & Draw (3 pages)

Choice Drawing (3 pages)

>>>>> A total of 10 pages!

I love that you can just use scraps of paper for this project!  Magazine letters and patterned paper would also work.  If you want to really recycle some more, cut up a cereal box or a used posterboard to glue your scraps on.  If you have a bunch of old file folders, you could cut them up to use as a surface.

This turned out to be one of my favorite projects!  I had kids use up the scraps from our scrap box.  They glue them to 9x12 tag board (like poster board) and then added patterns.
