Description

This bundle includes 2 lessons to add Greek patterns to symmetrical Greek vases. Students will learn the fundamental drawing strategies of using the 5 elements of shape and using a grid and line of symmetry as a guide to making a symmetrical drawing.

Learn how to draw Greek patterns that can be used for a Greek vase art lesson. Use repeated motifs from ancient Greece to create patterns. The worksheets are divided into 4 levels of difficulty to differentiate the drawing activities easily.

The Greek vase lesson includes some warm-up drawing activities along with how to draw Greek vases. Symmetry also may fit into your math curriculum and is a fun way to teach kids about the line of symmetry (or reflection). Students will draw a Greek vase, add patterns to the Greek vase, and a symmetrical design in the middle of the vase.
